Dylan Nicholson
Dylan Nicholson is an acoustic singer/songwriter from North Carolina that rocks the patio on any given weekend at Blue Sky Bistro. His repertoire is inspired by several genres including Folk, Blues, Outlaw Country, and classic rock.
Dylan appreciates the art of storytelling and often sings ballads of the working man. Hard work, honesty, lost love, and simple pleasures are themes that come up time and again. His lyrical choices, accompanied with technical guitar picking, and a smooth calming voice create a nostalgia for a time passed and style that is all his own.
Dylan lives in Morro Bay where he enjoys playing music, surfing, sailing, camping, and drinking whiskey.

David Pope
David began his study of classical guitar at Cal State Fullerton in the 70's, and then began teaching and writing original material. In the 80's he began playing solo steel string guitar in restaurants and coffee houses in Sonoma County.
Using open tunings and writing guitar music in a New Age style, influenced by guitarists like Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke and John Renbourn he also traveled to Maine and performed there where I was exposed to Celtic music, which is a large part of his style, along with Renaissance, Baroque music, and some of his own compositions.
David has taught guitar and piano in SLO County since 2000. David and his wife took an extended vacation and lived in the San Juan Islands 5 years, and moved back to Morro Bay in 2007 where he resumed teaching and performing. You can catch David playing his performances every Saturday and Sunday morning at the Blue Sky Coastal Café in Morro Bay.

David Orr
David has been playing guitar and singing for 45 years, and started writing songs about 30 years ago. He played his first 'gig' before he was 18 years old so was escorted and supervised in the bar by his older, musician brother. David has been performing off and on ever since.
In 2008 David founded the popular duo 'Acoustico' and played often in San Luis Obispo County as well as venues in Northern California. Acoustico blended numerous genres, including Folk, Country, Soft Rock, Blues, & mild Jazz. The band played both Cover songs primarily from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as numerous of David's original works.
Late in 2013 David resumed his Solo efforts, and has been playing what his fans have described as "a soft, warm, and pleasing" style of Acoustic Guitar and Vocals. David can play a full show of originals or a full show of creatively interpreted covers, and this offers many options that allow him to cater to the specific nuances of the venue at which he performs.
David performs at Cafes, Restaurants, Concerts, Private affairs such as Weddings, Parties, and newly offered House Concerts (for more on House Concerts, see the following page). His gentle musical presentation, coupled with his easy way and wry wit, make for a very entertaining experience.
